Virtual Development Management Programmes

a. Community Accountants

From 1st to 5th July 2020 (Batch-I) and 27th to 29th July 2020 (Batch- II) Centre for Human Resource Department (CHRD) has organized a virtual Development Management Programmes (DMPs) for community accountants working in different thematic programmes. Thirty-Two community accountants across various DHAN’s working locations joined in the virtual programme. To equip the participants with advanced skill-set, the programme was designed with five modules promulgating the significance of auditing process, data entry, budgeting and relevant report making, MIS preparations and effective fund management at people institutions.

b. Panchayat Leaders

DHAN People Academy (DPA) in collaboration with Water Knowledge Centre (WKC) of The DHAN Academy (TDA) organized a virtual DMP for the panchayat representatives. The focus of the programme pertained to seed the concept of water conservation through local action by panchayat leaders. Thirty panchayat leaders from Madurai, Theni and Dindigul district participated in the virtual meeting fathomed the current scenario of water bodies, enabled about the panchayat’s roles and responsibilities w.r.t village water resources, significance of effective integration of NREGA in conservation and development activities, rainwater harvesting structures prominence and legal aspects pertaining to water conservation initiatives, interventions and implementations.
