Internship at DHAN Foundation

Internship at the DHAN foundation is a unique opportunity to work at the grassroot levels of the development sector. DHAN works in a plethora of development themes including but not limited to Poverty Eradication, Women Empowerment, Health, Water, Agriculture, Livelihood, Coastal conservation, Education, Technology, and Tourism. DHAN’s community banking, and water related development initiatives have been running since the early nineties, and globally recognized. Being one of the pioneers in Community Banking and Waterbodies restoration, DHAN is part of several global bodies and networks on Community Banking and Water. Interning at DHAN would open up the window into the development sector wherein the praxis at the grassroot interfuses with the policies at the macro level. DHAN Foundation receives demand from candidates at national and international levels to do internships with us. As per the internship policy of DHAN, the candidates are encouraged to spend a minimum of three months as part of internship for a full-fledged learning from the community. Depending on their interest candidates may intend to extend their internship duration up to six months or twelve months. DHAN is encouraging the Professionals from Agricultural and allied disciplines from state, national and international institutes / universities to intern with us. Centre for Human Resources Development at DHAN facilitates internships. Each intern will have a field guide at location level.
