From Sangam Age, Thiruparankundram, five km away from Madurai City is an important Heritage place of Tamil Nadu. This place is typical for religious pluralism and the entire hillock in this historic place is famous for its JAIN Monuments, Brahmi Inscriptions and beds, Early Pandya Rock cut temples, Sacred Water bodies.
