Deepening the Conservation
DHAN People Academy (DPA) in collaboration with Water Knowledge Centre (WKC) of The
DHAN Academy (TDA) conducted two days online training programme on ‘Integrated Water
Resources Management’. Village Volunteers, Kalanjiam leaders and Staff – a total of 42
members –participated in the programme.
Members were equipped with perceiving the water inclusion w.r.t global perspectives as well as filed application for local action. Water cycle, Water and Biodiversity, Virtual water, Water and Heritage, Water and Human, water resources availability and Panchayats role in enabling water resources were also discussed in the two days session. Few success stories of water conservation initiated at Panchayat levels were also shared with the participants.
