DHAN Foundation in collaboration with Narayana Hrudayalaya, Mysore organized health camps providing health assistance to co-morbid members at Mychamundi location of the region. The camps were organized throughout the month, wherein 1000 member and their families availed medical assistance.
On 5th October, DHAN Mysore region has initiated Livelihood Enterprise Development Programme in Periyapatna location. Dr. Sandesh, Assistant director of veterinary department, Mrs. Nirupa Rajesh, Taluk Panchayat President, Mrs. Shwetha, Branch Manager, Canara bank and NABARD DDM Mr. Manikandan participated during the inauguration ceremony.
Alleviating Poverty has been the core goal of the institution since inception. People Institutions across the 14 states, across all the contexts, aims at bringing the member families out of the poverty clutches. Community organizations across the Mysore region observed International Day of Eradication of Poverty on 17th October 2020. Members, leaders and bankers participated in the event. Government Schemes and entitlements, and the measures needed to be incorporated for poverty eradication of every member family were discussed during the event.
