On 22 nd October 2020, SUHAM Trust team from Central Office visited Jawadhu Hills and had integration meeting with Federation Leaders. Block Integrator, coordinators and associates of Health, Small Millet Foundation, Climate Change Adaptation and Federation leaders of Jawadhu Hills region participated in the meeting. Enhancing SUHAM hospital standards for patients, outreach through collaborative practices among all the federations were discussed during the meeting.

Study on Non-timber Forest Produces and Biodiversity of Jawadhu Hills

Nine village forest committees were organized across Kanamalai panchayat in Pallathur, Nagalur, Mallimadu, Malaikollai, Avaranvalasai, Keelkanavayur, Melkanavayur, Kavampattu, Keelkavampattu. Regional team’s interaction with the members across the villages provided the information of the produce availability of various predominant varieties and their current market price.
