Reflection Publications Trust(RPT)

The Reflection Publications Trust, an entity in development journalism, was initiated on 21st November, 2013. It disseminates a range of publications and knowledge products aiming to bring transformative changes in the society. The Trust brings the practitioners and emerging writers together and offers them platform to convey their experiences and insights to the society at large. Communicating the community in last mile is envisaged to be the key social responsibility to foster prosperity from the bottom of the pyramid.

Reflection Publications Trust emphasizes fostering transformative changes in the society through its products and publications. Community centered development communication is the key objective of the unit around which the practices are established. The features of the products exactly communicate the realities in the field by connecting the micro and macro perspectives. It also aims at unfolding the documentation expertise of the all the partners whoever travels with the unit. Building the knowledge from the grassroots gets top priority across the products.

Reflection Publications Trust brings out a wide range of knowledge products with an active support from the writers, well-wishers and network. Monthly magazines in two languages i.e Tamil, Kannada are circulated widely. Books and publications are released at regular intervals highlighting the themes like women empowerment, water, health, history, literature, development management, etc. Moreover, the products like posters, promotional materials, calendars highlighting specific themes are also designed to disseminate the messages related to Behavioural Change Communication and thematic appreciation.
