Centre for Facilitating Philanthropy
The purpose of the Centre for Facilitating Philanthropy (CFP) in DHAN Foundation is to create meaningful opportunities for the different stakeholders in the society to get involved in development work.
The core areas of work for the Centre are:
- Engaging in individuals, small groups and the general public in development work in a more meaningful way,
- Building corporate partnerships for social development,
- Setting up Friends of DHAN networks in other countries
So as to support DHAN’s work in the themes of Microfinance, Water, Rainfed Farming, Health, Education, Information Technology, Development Management Education, etc.
The Centre also organises Madurai Walkathon every year for a specific cause to create awareness as well as raise funds for action related to the cause.
