D iabetics is one of the silent killer which is surely affecting a huge number of civilians worldwide. Statistics say that around 537 million adults (20-79 years) are living with diabetes. Over 4 in 5 (81%) adults with diabetes live in low- and middle-income countries.

In such a critical scenario, it is imperative that we speak more on this silent killer and create adequate awareness about it. World Diabetes Day (WDD) was created in 1991 by IDF and the World Health Organization in response to growing concerns about the escalating health threat posed by diabetes.
