Children’s Day Celebrations at DHAN Karunai Illam
T he children are the future of our country. Investing in the growth of our children is equivalent to investing in the progress of the country.
It is with this vision of creating a safe and secure environment for the growth of children that DHAN Foundation has supported the DHAN Karunai Illam - the Home for the Destitute children.
DHAN Karunai Illam was founded by Mrs. Jean Watson, New Zealand who visited India during the 1980s. it is situated at Nilakottai Village on the way to Kodaikanal. DHAN KarunaiIllam (DKI) is 32 years home for destitute children of Tamil Nadu.
Recently the children’s Day was celebrated at the DHAN Karunai Illam with the launch of the new book ‘Adhichoodi’. The book is a part of the booklet series released by Reflection Publications Trust ( R.P.T.) of DHAN Foundation.

The book focuses on building values for the children and imparting virtues in them. Along with the Book-Release session, games were organized for the children.
