The World Water Day 2026 celebration was organized by the DHAN Foundation in collaboration with Axis Bank Foundation on March 22, 2026, at Kaushalya Regency, Lakhisarai. The event began with registration, a welcome address by Mr. Rakesh Kumar Dey, and traditional rituals including Lighting the Lamp and Water Worship. Key thematic presentations covered community-led water resource development in Bihar, gender integration, and strategic plans for the Kiul region. Major highlights included the launch of Farmers Federations across six blocks in the Kiul river basin, updates on the DHANA 4.0 CSR project, and healthcare initiatives led by Dr. Nishanth Chandra Deo. The Chief Guest, Sri. Mithilesh Mishra (IAS, DM, Lakhisarai), delivered the keynote address on water conservation. The program concluded with a collective oath and a vote of thanks by Mr. Dheeraj Kumar Sah.
