Virtual Heritage Walk at Historic Theerthamalai of Dharmapuri District

The Therthamalai is one of the important Heritage villages of Tamilnadu which exists on the Traditional Trade Route of Dharmapuri District now it is 12 km from Harur. This Village is famous for its unique Theerthams (namely Agasthya Theertham, AgniTheertham. Kumara Theertham, and Gouri Theertham) with the 1000 year Theerthagiriswar temple Constructed during the Chola period with inscriptions belongs Chola and Vijayanagar period. Poet Saint Arunagirinathar referred to this Theerthagirieeswarar Temple in his devotional poem.
