For the colleagues of Indervelly FPO, the International Day of women was an event when they could celebrate the woman power amongst them.

For this, we must specially mention the contribution of its president Ms. Thanubai.

Coming from a poor tribal background, Ms. Thanubai joined DHAN's Vayalagam Program and soon made her way up the ladder.

Subsequently, by being a part of Indervelly FPO, with her grit, determination, and leadership skills, she eventually progressed to handle the responsibility of the chairperson of Indervelly Farmer Producer's Company.

In fact, under her capacity, Indervelly FPO became amongst the first of farmers' organizations to have established a functioning Ginning Mill.

On this Women's day, Ms. Thanubai's contributions got noticed with an award by Adilabad NABARD FPO.
