Partnerships Promoted Livelihoods

DHAN Vayalagam Tankfed Foundation (DVTF), having more than two decades of experience in conservation and development activities across the vayalagam locations, ensured in enrolling and facilitating the members to the NREGA works. DVTF regions of Munger and Khammam having collaborations with ITC projects engaged the members in manual works of Ahar-Pyne and SMC & Plantation works respectively. Training and implementations of SRI Paddy cultivation and Drum Seeders method of sowing has been predominantly practiced in Munger and Khammam regions.


DVTF collaborations with the village level, block level and district level administrations ensured easiness in availing job cards for the migrants who’ve returned during the unlock phase especially in locations like Munger.

Thiruvallur integration locations with the financial aid of local philanthropy engaged the vayalagam federation in construction of farm ponds, and kalanjiam women in goat farming and country chick farming activities, addressing the vulnerable sections in the members.

Awareness programmes during AFG monthly meetings and Vayalagam meetings ensured the members to follow SoMaHa practices during the unlock phase. DHAN Northern regions via virtual platforms ensuring the members to be benefitted through FPO training, organic farming, kitchen gardens and home available nutritional requirements, paving way for building resilient communities.
