Nation’s lockdown brought down never before socio-economic distress onto the communities across all the contexts. One side pandemic forced the current generations among four walls, on the other side it also completed shackled several health programmes focusing on the future generations, affecting the forthcoming generations’ as well.
DHAN Foundation through its DHAN Collective ensured the relief activities during its coping phase (April to June 2020). With the commencement of institutional adaptation phase and the beginning of the unlock phase across the states, DHAN Foundation engaged in ensuring healthy future generations by addressing anaemia among adolescent girls and supplying vitamin tablets and nutri-kits for U5 children for nutrition enhancement.
