Development Immersion Programme
A stay with the community is an eye opener for the young graduates to understand the realities of life at grassroots. While the education in present scenario aiming at knowledge exposure, it is highly necessary to blend it with real life experiences. Development Immersion Programme is one of the flagship programmes of The DHAN Academy which helps younger generation to empathize the life at grassroots. It also emphasizes the philosophy of `Giving back to the society’ wherein the graduates are encouraged to make their knowledge and skills available for the community irrespective of their career. The programme is built with the modules like development perspectives, exposure to different dimensions of poverty, stay with the community, and presentations on the village stay.
