DHAN Foundation organized Online Development Management Programmes (O-DMP) for all its development Professionals, Executives, Regional Coordinators and Programme Leaders of various thematic programmes, connecting them virtually from all the 14 states, across the four contexts – rural, urban, tribal and coastal – to equip the participants with the much needed skillsets and perspectives to serve the community in the best possible way during the pandemic times.
Write Shop for CDC Nodes
DHAN Foundation organized a write shop for Centre for Development Communication (CDC) nodal persons (nodes), with an aim to equip the participants with professional writing skillset as well as to enhance their micro and macro case study writing abilities. Furthermore, the participants were furnished with the needful insights and guidelines needed to be followed during the preparation of Annual Reports at the regional level. Two batches constituting 32 CDC nodal person across the 14 working states of DHAN Foundation have participated in the online write shop. DHAN’s Centre for Development Communication (CDC) and Centre for HRD (CHRD) organized the Write shop.
Enabling Community on Financial Management
DHAN Foundation addressing the financial crisis the community has subjected to amid the covid-19, organized an online development management programme on financial management. The virtual programme ensured to build the knowledge and skill of the professionals on awareness creation as well to enable the community to adopt the sustainable financial practices. A total of 24 members – Regional Coordinators and block integrators – from various regions have participated virtually. DHAN’s Kalanjiam Financial Development Services (KDFS) and Housing and Habitat Development of Poor for Empowerment Confederation (HOPE) organized the online DMP.
Enabling Community for Livelihood Intervention through FPOs
DHAN Foundation organized an online DMP programme on enabling the community for livelihood interventions through Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) for CEOs of FPOs. DHAN’s Jeevidam, KTL and Centre for HRD organized and facilitated the online DMP. The online platform served to mitigate the losses the farmers subjected to by creating awareness about the various Government entitlements issued for the farmers and also to build knowledge on the agricultural livelihood activities as well as to enhance the income of the farmers through the agricultural activities. 26 CEOs from 24 FPOs in Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh benefitted through this online DMP.
Enabling Community for Agriculture Allied Activities Intervention through FPOs
DHAN Foundation organized an online DMP programme on enabling the community for Agriculture Allied Activities Intervention through FPOs for CEOs of FPOs. DHAN’s Jeevidam, KTL and Centre for HRD organized and facilitated the online DMP. 35 members – CEOs of FPOs in Tamil Nadu and Federation Integrators from Pambar region have participated. The purpose of the DMP is to comprehend the farmers’ status in agricultural and allied activities amidst covid-19, to focus on the FPOs intervention and initiatives through collective action and also to create awareness about marketing analytics for allied activities for the betterment of the farmers.
Enabling Community Risk Resilience Covid-19
DHAN Foundation organized an Online Development Management Programme (O-DMP) to build the knowledge and skill of the professionals on awareness creation and enable the community to adopt non-financial mutual practices. People Mutuals along with SUHAM and Centre for HRD organized and facilitated the O-DMP. Three batches, each batch constituting 15 to 20 professionals along with regional nodal persons participated in the DMP. The DMP is organized as a Training of Trainers (ToT) and in turn the trained professionals are expected to equip the field professionals and associates located at their work sphere.
DMP on Public Relation for Young RCs
DHAN Foundation organized an Online Development Management Programme on Public relations primarily aiming at providing clarifications on fundamentals of collaborations, public relations and resource mobilizations. Centre for HRD of DHAN Foundation has organized the online DMP. 17 professionals have participated in the online DMP. Effective way of collaborations with the collaborators viz., bankers, insurance companies, government officers for various interventions like Health, Education, Livelihood and Skill building has been elaborated along with significance of enhancing the Public Relations at the regional level along with ensuring writing proposals and the various ways and approaches available for resource mobilizations.
DMP on Personal Leadership
DHAN Foundation has organized an Online Development Management Programme on Personal Leadership. 36 members – Programme Leaders and Regional Coordinators – across the DHAN’s working locations have participated. Shri. D.V.R Seshadri and Smt. Astha Sharma from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad were the resource persons, wherein they have emphasized the significance of leadership and traits one need to be incubate to become a leader, elaborated the contributing factors for happiness of an individual and how it is related to the work life and personal life of any individual.
