Children of DHAN Karunai Illam spent a week time to read the life of Gandhi from the book ‘Gandhi 150’ written by Shri.S.Neelakandan, Senior Announcer, All India radio, Chennai. DHAN Karunai Illam is a “Happy home for children in need”, stepping into 32 years of service to Children which primarily focuses on safety, security and sustained development of children. Namadhu Mannvasam, a prominent Tamil magazine, has organized the written test on ‘Gandhi 150’ wherein more than 100 children from DHAN Karunai Illam as well as from its satellite centres have participated. On January 1, 2020 the children travelled through a seminar and listened to the noble episodes of Gandhi’s life. It was an inspirational journey for the entire children of DHAN Karunai Illam.
