World Toilet Day Events To raise Sanitation awareness

W orld Toilet Day is celebrated annually on 19th November to inspire action to tackle the global sanitation crisis and help achieve Sustainable Development Goal - 6 (SDG 6), which promises sanitation for all by 2030. Here is a glimpse of how the event was marked at some of our locations:
Semiliguda location, Koraput:
World Toilet Day at Semiliguda
Toilet day was marked at Semiliguda Federation SHGs in Gunta Guda village and Bhejaput village. As a part of the event, the Kalanjiam members held play-cards and created awareness on toilets for better sanitation and hygiene.
Tumkur Region:
World Toilet Day at Tumkur
Tumkur Region marked World Toilet day for bringing awareness to the community, school children, and other relevant stakeholders. The event was marked across six federations along with the Bank manager, Anganwadi worker, ASHA worker, Gram panchayat member, PHC ANM, School Teacher, and PHC Staff covering over 300 participants.
