Youth engagement activity - Photography Camp
A three-day Sacred Grove Winter Photography camp was organized for adults from 27th to 29th December, 2021. People from all over the country were invited to participate in the event, to capture the socio-cultural aspects, biodiversity and threats to sacred groves. A total of 18 students and adults participated in the three-day residential camp. They were exposed to sacred groves in the rural areas as well the urban areas. Strict protocol was followed by each participant respecting the local belief systems. Participants also explored folklores and tales around the groves.
Youth engagement activity - Photography Camp
An exhibition was organized at Gandhi Memorial Museum where, both the community members, ornithologists, botanists and professional photographer were invited to judge the skills of participants. Best Photograph, Best Photographer and notable photographs were awarded with cash prizes.
