An audio conference program on Turmeric Crop Management
A n audio conference program for the farmers of the Hingoli Kalanjiam region was held under the guidance of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Tondapur , Hingoli, and senior scientist, Prof. Anil Orambe. The event was supported by Reliance Foundation.
As a part of the event, the participants were given information for best practices for Turmeric Crop production. Speaking as a part of the event, Prof. Anil stressed how the crop should be protected from weeds with the help of the correct combination of fertilizers. He also gave in-depth guidance on manure management.
Farmers and women from Isapur Ramana village in the Hingoli district participated in the program. The farmers solved their problems by asking questions to the experts.
