DHAN’s Silver Jubilee Foundation Day Celebrations at World Tamil Sangam, Madurai
D HAN Foundation celebrated its 25th Foundation Day on 2nd October 2021 with the Theme “Mothering Community Swaraj”. The day was marked with celebrations across all regions of DHAN’s presence.
At Madurai, the event was marked at World Tamil Sangam Hall. Due to COVID restrictions, the presence of the audience was limited. The event started with the lightening of the lamp ceremony followed by a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi’s Centenary birth anniversary.
Graduation ceremony of newly Inducted DHANites
On the occasion of the Silver Jubilee celebrations, a stamp, and a logo was released to mark the occasion.
As a part of an annual tradition, the graduation ceremony of newly inducted DHANites was conducted. The highlight of the event was the Developmental Dialogue session on ‘Local Food System: The Way forward’. The event was graced by renowned Scholar ‘Dr. Vandana Shiva’.The event was concluded with a vote of thanks and appreciation.
