S UHAM Trust, the health initiative of DHAN Collective is ensuring a wide range of campaigns, vaccination drives, awareness programmes to help the community safeguard themselves. Various efforts are being made in boosting immunity for elders and young people through traditional diet and traditional medicines.

The Thanjavur region and Public Health Department jointly conducted Dengue awareness programme in Thanjavur rural location. Block Medical officer, Health inspector, Staff from ICDS department, Village Health Functionaries took part in the event. Awareness messages on precautionary methods in controlling dengue were spoken. In post Covid situation, every region has started their general medical camp in resecitve thematic context. In this conneciton Madurai rural, Madurai Urban, Thiruvallur, Mayurbhanj and Vizag regions have conducted General medical camp at village levels. Totally 63 Camp was conducted by coverinbg around 3000 memebrs. Majorly NCDs Patients referred to the Next level for diagnosis and treatments.

Capacity Building training to newly selected Panchayat Leaders

As part of the health Programme, Panchayat leaders are seen as the beacon of the health initiatives. Hence, every region has conducted an one day training programme on health for newly selected panchayat leaders. Madurai rural region and Social welfare Department jointly organized the training programme on Madurai west block. Totally 46 Panchayat leaders and members were participated. They have motivated the community members to participate in the health campaigns being organized in their area.



National Girl child day

National Girl Child Day was celebrated with the objective of raising the consciousness of the society towards the girl child especially on their health care. Mayurbhanj region has conducted the awareness programme at cluster level. During the time health coordinator gave the awareness on Girls child rights. Around 700 adolescent girls have participated.

Eye and Breast cervical Screening camps with Helpage India and HCG Cancer Hospital

Vizag region along with Helpage India and HCG Cancer Hospital jointly organized the camp for Eye and breast cancer screening. Two eye camps were organized, where 7 members got identified for surgery among which 2 surgeries were done. 73 members have participated in the cervical cancer screening.
