Tree Plantation Drive at Adavi Sacred Groove

T he world lives on hope and each tree planted carries with it a hope of a better life, a better world, and a better future. It is with this purpose of creating an evergreen world that DHAN Foundation has implemented many projects on tree plantation and nature conservation.
On 28th July, on the occasion of ‘Nature Conservation Day’, DHAN Foundation along with the support of HCL Foundation carried out the tree plantation activity at Adavi Sacred groove, Madurai Kamaraj University. The activity was the commencement of the larger project of plantation of around 5000 trees in the surrounding area.
The event was made auspicious with the presence of Dr.M.Krishnan, Vice-chancellor, Madurai Kamaraj University in the presence of the Estate officer, HCL Foundation, and DHAN Foundation representatives. Around 15 tree saplings were planted on that day.
