Preventive Awareness Camps
SUHAM Trust, the healthcare vertical of DHAN Foundation, in
collaboration with HCL Foundation organized several
awareness cancer camps observing the World Cancer Day. The
collaboration – as a part of M-Health Programme – is
predominately working towards the overall well-being of the
women and their families.
On the occasion of World Cancer Day, SUHAM Trust Health Coordinators, Associates and Urban Health Nurses from Villapuram PHC assembled at Keerathurai Slum. Addressing the 37 women participants, the resource persons disembarked the preventive measures for practice to prevent the Breast and Cervical Cancer, the most common type of cancers among the women. Vocal presentations and Video demonstrations were provided to the locals during the session.
