DHAN Foundation pioneered in grooming and transforming women into leaders. DHAN’s more than two decades of grassroots community action led to creating thousands of leaders. These leaders are promoting and positioning DHAN Collective – particularly the Kalanjiam (Microfinance; the entry level programme of DHAN) – across all the contexts. These leaders inspire, motivate and pave way for building the younger generations across the people institutions.
Ms. P. Chinnapillai, one of the Kalanjiam leaders, was bestowed with the Lifetime Achievement Award by Lions Club of Madras Parktown on 6th December 2020. Dr. P. Thanavelan, the director of Lions Club of Madras Parktown felicitated Ms. P. Chinnapillai during the ceremony.
