My father died before I was born. My mother could not afford to educate me.
So she brought me here. I am studying 8th std.

DHAN KARUNAI ILLAM was founded by Mrs. Jean Watson a New Zealand Citizen who visited India on her ole search during 1980s. it is situated at Nilakottai Village on the way to Kodaikanal. DHAN Karunai Illam (DKI) is a 26 years home for destitute children of Tamil Nadu, around 600 children passed out from our illam since inception.
