ESSAY WRITING AND DRAWING COMPETITION
DHAN Foundation, Madurai has been organising Madurai Marathon since last three years on 'Water and Water bodies' importance and awareness on Anemia. This year too DHAN Foundation is organising Madurai marathon on 23rd Jan 2010 on Anemia awareness. Fifty percent of younger generations and pregnant women are suffering from andemia due to multifarious reasons. This not only affects the over all productivity but also inflicts greater blow to the Lives of the poor.
In order to sensitise adolescents DHAN Foundation and State Health Society (SHS) -Tamil Nadu plan a Madurai Marathon and invites School and College students to participate in the ESSAY WRITING and DRAWING COMPETITIONS on the following topics.

Last Date
Respective schools and colleges shall conduct the Essay Writing and Drawing Competitions. For schools and colleges with more than 50 participants in each category, three prizes will be given for each category at school and college level subject to submission of list of 50 and above participants to the Marathon Secretariat. Top three entries from each category should be sent to Marathon Secretariat which will be eligible for selection for district level prizes. Schools and colleges with less than 50 participants in each category can send top one entry for consideration for district level prize.
All Entries should reach on or before 18th January 2010 to Madurai Marathon Secretariat.

PRIZES
Attractive prizes will be awarded to first three places in each category at District Level.
Selected essays / drawings will be published in a booklet and exhibited in future public exhibitions by Madurai Marathon.
The prizes for the winners will be given on January 23, 2010 the day of Madurai Marathon.
