Services of Community Resource Centers

The Community Resource Centers are offering 10 different ICT enabled services for the rural people. The Following table summarizes the Services, Its need and its relative with the CRC objectives.

  1. The Poor are lack of infrastructure to have teleconference/ Video Conference with the expert. Farmers, Women and Youths have no way to communicate with Experts in their domain. Hence, there is a need for a common infrastructure to facilitate the connectivity between expert and rural poor.

  1. Rural Poor has to travel minimum 3 Kms to check their routine Diabetes, Blood Pressure, etc. hence, there is a need for Technology Enabled Health Services at their Door Steps

Sectoral Content and Camps

  1. The Multimedia Content will enrich the awareness and learning among the rural poor. Hence, there is a need for some common infrastructure to show Multimedia content on Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Health, Legal Aids,etc.. The Multimedia Content shows will be add on with Camps in the villages

Offline Services

  1. There is good demand for offline services like Xerox, Document typing, Scanning, etc at the rural door steps
