Coronavirus pandemic has raged across the nation like never before. More than 2 lakh people have lost their lives and countless others have lost their loved ones.Livelihoods have been impacted and millions are in search of help and need.

At this juncture , as patriotic citizens of the country we must do our best to help those in distress.

DHAN Foundation has initiated the campaign to fight COVID - 19 and to give a helping hand to over 2000 poor families and around 10,000 individuals in rural India where DHAN has been actively working since long.

Since the onset of the pandemic , DHAN has been at the forefront in relief and rehabilitation activities. From provision of PPE kits for medical health staff to health security guarantees to the displaced migrant workers with ration kits , DHAN has been active at every sphere of relief and rehabilitation.

Our Aim and Vision

We plan to support more than 2000 COVID affected poor families and almost 10,000 individuals in rural locations by providing them with life-saving essentials such as grocery kits , medicinal kits and also support for elderly and patients with co-morbidity who require critical care

Planned Relief Activities:

• Grocery Kits for COVID affected Families.

We need your support in providing grocery kits for COVID affected families. The Grocery kits would comprise of the daily ration which would help the COVID affected families survive in their times of distress.

Cost of One Grocery Kit would be around Rs.2000 for one family and would last for more than a month. We are targeting around 1000 families which would roughly comprise 4000 to 5000 individuals.

• Medical Support for COVID affected families :

A family affected by COVID - 19 requires constant medical help. With this in mind, we need to provide Medical kits for the health security of the individuals. This medical kit would comprise of essential medicines , Thermal thermometers , pulse oximeters and cash support for performing C.T. scan.

Cost of One Medical kit would cost around Rs. 6000 and we would target for the help of 1000 families .

• Equipment for Field Volunteers for screening and counselling support

Our Field volunteers across all our rural locations are doing their best to combat COVID -19 by constant screening and assisting those who are affected by the pandemic. For this they need specialized equipment .

This includes Thermal scanner , finger pulse oximeters , mask , hand-sanitizer , B.P. monitoring ,etc.

The above equipment cost around Rs. 4000 as per the market rates and we wish to buy for almost 500 volunteers.



Our Field volunteers across all our rural locations are doing their best to combat COVID -19 by constant screening and assisting those who are affected by the pandemic. For this they need specialized equipment .

• Treating Senior citizens and people with Co-morbidity affected by COVID-19

Senior citizens and persons with co-morbidity affected by COVID -19 require critical care and personal medical attention. As per the current situation in the country , the hospitals are crammed and there is less space available in the Health Centres.

In such a scenario ,the best alternative is to provide them medical reliefs in the safety of their homes with dedicated medical supervision and consultation.

For a package of around Rs. 10,000 , we can guarantee them home care which would include doctor’s consultancy, pulse oximeters , medicines,nutrition kit and immunity booster and other medical equipment. We target around 300 such patients who would require critical care.
