The film features the Jallikattu, a much debated traditional bull taming game of Tamil Nadu. It talks on the belief of the villagers, rules and dangers of the game. The player risks his life. It is famous in Alanganallur. The game brings the entire village into a grand gala. Each individual contribute in any way for the event by cash, kind or labour. It is conducted since ancient era. The village prepares for the festival by preparing the gallery for people to watch Jallikattu. Severe injuries and fighting between life and death (Pains) and gains (individual’s fame, seen as a symbol of bravery) of the game is documented. Diversified views of the so called sport are balanced to decide on the game to be encouraged or not.
