The film takes us to a tourism place of different perspective. Tuticorin district is a home of many historically important freedom fighters. The places have both the ruined old buildings and the new memorial structures. The film gives a document of lives of few freedom fighters – Veerapandia Kattabomman, Thanathipathy, Vellaiyathevan, Oomaithurai, Subramania Bharathiar, V. O. Chidambaram Pillai are the few to mention. Many ancient inscriptions, photos, letters and articles are shown. The films shows the pains, the cost of the freedom we enjoy it today.
