Overview of the DMP
This training programme focuses on building confidence in handling participatory research methods with the community and ability to apply relevant technique in appropriate situation in their organisation
Objectives of the DMP
- To enable the participants to understand the concept of participatory research and methodology and appropriate the need for involving community in participatory research methods
- To enable the participants to practise various participatory learning methods (PALM) and to help the participants to realize the role of PALM facilitator
- To understand the need for contextualising the methods related to microfinance and health
Expected outcome:
- The participants will be comfortable and confident in handing participatory research methods with the community in their projects/programme
- They will be able to apply relevant techniques in appropriate situations in relation to different themes in their project/programme.
